About Pro-Tec

Pro-Tec Mechanical Contractors Aruba NV was founded in 1995 by Mr. Frank Pronk and Mr. Hein Sweerts. The company started with 5 employees, serving small AC and plumbing jobs. The quality and liability soon resulted in a higher demand from customers for more and bigger jobs. In 1996 an engineering department was set up and soon the lodging industry became familiar with the wide knowledge and expertise of Pro-Tec. The company grew to 45 employees in 1998.

1998 was also the year in which The Trane Company decided to tighten their relationship and granted Pro-Tec Mechanical Contractors Aruba NV to be their representative for the Dutch Caribbean Islands; Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire. Trane’s excellent service and support played an important role in growing to 70 employees today.
